@BlackWatchAmbush yeah he was cleared to fight. Don't mean he was 100% fine. And the tactics for the fight was just go for his stomach. Not moaning its smart work. But a guy who literally just decided to do MMA after no back ground to be that good was crazy. Imagine if he put as much in it as the UFC fighters for life. As Joe Rogan said he could of been unreal.

I played against him in High School. Back then, High School Football Players in South Dakota who were 6ft+ and 200Lb+ were not very common in the SD 11B division. As a 225lb sophomore, he was one of the biggest players in the Confrence, on his Football team, but he was also one of the fastest players in the conference. His raw talent got him far enough to find success on the field.

If he transitioned to the NBA as a 6'4", 280 lb sharpshooter and lockdown defender, I'd have been completely impressed.
Hace 2 añosBall
He would have had to cut down a lot of weight to play in the NBA. 280 pounds at that height would give him a lot of injuries. There have been guys at that size in the NBA but they usually end up with knee and foot problems

I'm naturally 6'4 and 235 lbs, I can eat chicken and rice, hit the gym for like 2 months, chug protein shake and basically look like Lesnar. These dudes crying "roids" all the time don't understand that some men just have good genes, and build muscle easily.

1:35 that backup guard for the lowly Cardinals was DESTROYING him! That right there shows he literally had zero chance to do anything at the NFL level. Football isn’t just brute strength and athleticism. It’s technique and knowledge of the game. Him being dominated by a man that probably can lift less, and has much more body fat just shows you how knowing the fundamentals wins almost every time in sports.

I love Brock lesnar. I was very fortunate as a kid to have Marty morgan as my 3rd-8th grade lineman coach throughout my youth football years and I had learned a lot from him about dedication to not only the game but whatever you are doing. Marty morgan is Brock lesnar’s ufc coach if you guys didn’t know. I grew up being good friends with his son Rowan morgan and I think it’s just really cool to have someone who’s coached Brock to have coached myself as well. Love you Brock.
Hace 4 añosGlenn Glenn +1
I guess he learned fast that being an NFL player takes a different kind of talent than being a UFC fighter. Still a phenomenal athlete. I wonder why he was never recruited by a big school to play football if he was that good in high school? Just like an NFL player trying to be a professional wrestler. Few have been successful. It's a combination of acting and phenomenal athletic skills. Far more NFL players get career ending injuries when they try to take up professional wrestling than they would an NFL player who stayed in the NFL.. And another thing. I know many don't want to hear but its fact. The NFL is so stringet on steroid testing. That is another reason he wouldn't have made it in the NFL. But I give credit where credit is due he's an amazing athlete.
