The first SB was definitely defense, but this one was also Offense buddy, defense slowed them down but Bucs went down the field. Now that first SB,

They did and it will, but TB offense also put up 31 and that was with them coasting almost the entire second half. 31 points without really even trying for half a game. Had the chiefs put up any sort of fight TB offense scores at least 40 they were absolutely shredding the chiefs and Brady was completely locked in. Really it was just a complete performance on both sides of the ball. Arguably the most complete performance in SB history.

That said, I get where your coming from but guy can’t do it all. There’s No QB in the league ( maybe Lamar Jackson but only cuz he can run away from everyone and the Bucs would play a different D to stop him ) that would have been able to do anything different in Mahomes place. But I’m with you that Mahomes showed plenty and I mean a lot of weaknesses. 1. He made no adjustments at the line of scrimmage to help his line out by maybe keeping a TE or RB in to help ease some of the pressure. 2. He likes to go for the big play far too often when the check down is definitely the option 3. Instead of stepping up in the pocket to make a big throw, he gets skittish and tends to escape the pocket, but because he has such a great arm he tends to get away with it but definitely very predictable. Mahomes is the future. Guy can do it all, and yes he has all the weapons but you know what he hasn’t had his entire 4 yr career… No top 15 defense or a good RB. He has taken the Chiefs to 3 AFC title games and 2 SBs with him winning 1. No other QB can truly say that they did it without either a good Run game or a very good defense other than Mahomes 🤷🏻‍♂️ In all honesty, game should have been Bucs 31- Chiefs 25 but those 2 drops in the end zone really killed it for them. I was rooting for Bucs the whole game but have to call a Spade a Spade, Mahomes is amazingly gifted and will only get better. Go Bucs 🙌🏼🙌🏼

@Spidey facts. everyone says him scrambling 500 yards is "impressive". it's absolutely not. that would mean he can't read defenses or make adjustments so he needs to run around and wait when the bucs are just waiting for it to happen. if mahomes is so great why can't he pass from the pocket? scrambling around also makes your offensive line and receivers that much more tired. mahomes also targets kelce and hill (55%?) of the time so other guys don't feel like they are in the play so they give up easier, but not tom brady. he looks for every read over and over again unlike mahomes who only looks at kelce and hill and if they aren't open he scrambles to find a third guy (or the same guy).

What you call football has a full name it is association football, football being the abbreviation. Sarah Christine TB would have done better in this situation by a longshot. You don’t seem to realize that Patrick is the captain of his team. This means he is in the locker room talking to them and coming up with strategy. He was a bad leader in the lockers and bad on the field. Brady would’ve whipped his O-line into shape. Mahomes with a better O-Line would have 17 points likely (1 fg 2 tds) which really is only 14 since the kicker is responsible for the fg.

I’m a Bills fan and even I say it wasn’t Mahomes fault. I think Mahomes played fairly well under the circumstances. He was extending plays by running and making good throws even though TB was all over him all game. No quarterback could do well under that pressure. If Brady was behind that O-line he would have finished with negative yards of offense.

I always argued that Manning was better than Brady. I was wrong. What he did here proved everything about who he is; and he is the GOAT. It's not even close. Simply amazing what he did. I hope Tom thanks God.

I love Manning, an amazing regular season QB, possibly the best ever, but Brady has him beat in several catergories, just my opinion. For one, Brady has less interceptions than Manning, and has played quite a bit longer. So Manning was more turnover prone. Plus, Manning didn't do as well in the playoffs. Got destroyed by the Seahawks during his first Super Bowl in Denver, and did practically nothing to help the team win when they did beat the Panthers in that Super Bowl. I also feel like Manning had more talent around him for most of his career like Harrison, James, Thomas, Sanders, and Wayne for most of his career. Manning almost always had at least one top 10 receiver, I don't think I can say the same for Brady throughout his career. Yes, Brady had Moss (for a very short time) and Gronk, and this Bucs receiving corp was probably the best overall he ever had, but outside of that, a lot of his Super Bowls were won with "speedy, little, no-named, white guys" that most people don't even remember the name of lol. No offense, they were good, but the average fan doesn't know about Amendola, Edelman, Welker; etc.

I expect that there is a very good chance that KC & the Bucs meet again (perhaps in SB LVI) in Feb. 2022. I see no reason to expect the outcome to be any different. KC demonstrated no indication of being able to adapt/adjust to TB’s suffocating Defense, or being able to stop TB’s Offense. Brady & TB’ Offense PROVED that they are more than capable of adjusting to KC’s Defense, by virtue of the fact that, after a couple of stopped drives, TB, switched up their receiver route schemes & then ran/passed the ball down the field for several long scoring drives. KC was never able to do this. TB Offense is better than KC Defense. TB defense is better than KC Offense. . TB can impose its will on KC. KC can NOT impose its will on TB. This implies the same outcome.

Tampa's SB defense was the second best of the century (Legion of Boom destroying the highest scoring offense in history is first) but please, do not overlook Brady and company completely destroying the Chiefs D in the first half.
