Let’s be honest, that was one of the greatest games ever played!

Sorry Chiefs fans (and the odd Bills fan or two) but this game is still greater. Just because's a comment's old and has a ton of replies, that doesn't mean you'll get away with trying to reason us fans with recency bias. My reasoning is based on what was on the line: a Super Bowl appearance and two legacies. This was Brady's last chance to win a ring in New England. Mahomes' chance to finally win his first ring (and have two rings as of 2022). Now, this year's game? Regarding solely the game itself, that one wins hands down. However, on top of that, neither team in that game won the Super Bowl let alone sniffed it. In terms of what was on the line, this game didn't mean much. Now, if Buffalo vs KC was the 2022 AFC Championship game? Then it's a greater game, no question.

Mahomes has a long career ahead of him and the ability to accept this loss and come out swinging on the biggest stage speaks immense volumes to that young man's mental toughness. The offsides was correct, he was lined up way over the line, and the flag was thrown before Tom even threw the ball after getting intercepted. It was a free play, stop blaming the Patriots for the Chiefs mistakes. Or stop blaming the refs for making good calls

Bills vs Chiefs ending was almost identical to this game. Both games had 24 and 25 points scored in the final 2-4 minutes. Game tying field goal and one OT drive to win it.

and now the chiefs beat the bills in the same fashion, both games being masterpieces!

This is certainly one of the best conference championship games ever.

One of my favorite Tom Brady games. I remember watching this game and especially the last drive with Brady converting on 3rd & 10 three times in a row thinking that the Chiefs needed just one stop to get the ball back. Being from Michigan, Ima miss watching Brady especially since I'm a Detroit Lions fan as well lmaoo. Lastly ABreally wondering why Gronk be getting paid better.... This game can help figure out why that is lol

This was easily the greatest game of professional football ever played. Two powerhouses trading haymakers right up to the end. The seasoned vet vs the young gun. Better than that year's Superbowl by a long shot.

First football game I ever watched (I’m 18 now). I’ve been a lifelong basketball fan but my friends kept encouraging me to watch football. So I decided to watch this game and changed my life as a sports fan. Even though they lost, something about the Chiefs made me love them and I’ve been a fan ever since. People say I’m a bandwagon fan but I could care less. Win or lose, I love this team lol.

And Tom Brady beats the Chiefs in the Super bowl 2 years later. The GOAT.

Stats are fundamentally flawed. You don't need to win every game in the regular season to go to playoff. You don't need to crash your opponent to advance. For a really good team, it's beneficial to put up inferior stats, it's beneficial to not show all of your hands, so you still have something extra to give during the superbowl. I think that's what happens with TB12.

Yea, Brady will make anybody who touch the ball around him scary! Do you really think some of those receivers on his team will start for some other teams in the NFL? And have those stat numbers. In my humble opinion I think the teams are geared up to stop Brady first. Everything else they can figure out during the game. They ran all over KC and almost still lost. Then Brady did what Brady do. The guy is very clutch under pressure.

I remember this game like it was yesterday. I've been a chiefs fan as long as I can remember and this season I watched every game with my brother. The play where Ward had the INT in the 4th quarter my brother and I were hugging and jumping like we were kids again. I haven't screamed with joy like that since I was a kid. When Dee Ford lined up off sides I was so devastated and knew that the game wasn't going to end well. Seeing KC win it all the next season was truly amazing and I hope they run it back this year!

Put up a fight? This was literally a blowout the entire game until the Patriots defense, like usual, stops playing defense late in games. This is why the Seahawks almost beat them in the Super Bowl and why the Eagles beat them last year. Hell, even the Falcons torched them. The defense is below average at best

I agree it is insane how he predicts some of the plays, but to some people like me, it is inappropriate for the color analyst to sit there and try to predict plays. He should give color commentary on what is happening and not predict where the play/ball is going.
