I was watching this live at the super bowl and this was one of the coolest things of the whole show! They filmed that last part on the field live and the crowd went crazy for the kids - the timing of when they came out was perfect with the commercial on the big screen

Pretty sure Pat Tillman would have hated his image being tied into the whole Football+America+Support our Troops circus and being used for an ad. He was shot 3 times in the head from less than 10 yards away by someone in his own platoon. And the Pentagon covered it up for weeks. Members of his unit burned his flak jacket and helmet to cover it up as well. It's likely that he was murdered by his own unit purposefully because he had an anti-war and anti-Bush stance, and was going to meet with Noam Chomsky after returning from deployment.
